The WBC Baltic Championship revives the championship that existed from 2008 to 2015 yy. This championship is the WBC affiliated title, founded by Edmund Lipinski – at that time WBC Vice President. Previously, boxers from 9 countries with access to the Baltic Sea could fight for the WBC Baltic title. Over 8 years, 63 fights were held. This time, the territory has expanded due to the Baltic Sea basin, adding 5 more countries.
Boxers from Belarus*, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway, Poland, Russia*, Slovakia, Sweden, Ukraine will be able to fight for the WBC Baltic title (* – in accordance with the WBC rules).
The WBC Baltic Sea Committee established the WBC Baltic Championship with 2 titles:
WBC Baltic Title (10 rounds)
and WBC Baltic Silver Title (8-10 rounds)

Some of the most successful boxers who have won the WBC Baltic belt during their careers are: Dmitry Pirog, Mariusz Wach, Krzysztof Cieslak, Rakhim Chakhkiev, Artur Szpilka, Manuel Charr, Mairis Briedis.
