Sebastian Fundora to make first defence of WBC crown

Sebastian Fundora will defend his WBC super welterweight crown on March 22 at the Michelob ULTRA Arena in Las Vegas against Chordale Booker in an event presented by Premier Boxing Champions and streaming live on Prime Video.

Standing nearly six-foot-six, Fundora (21-1-1, 13 KOs) captured the titles with a split decision win over Tim Tszyu in March 2024 with a classic, which turned into a thriller. This upcoming fight marks his first title defense since that milestone victory.

Booker (23-1, 11 KOs), from Stamford, Connecticut, has reeled off six straight wins following a first-round upset knockout loss to Austin Williams in 2022. This fight represents his first opportunity to compete for a world title.

In the co-main event, Jesus Ramos Jr. (22-1, 18 KOs) will take on contender Kevin Salgado (17-2-1, 12 KOs) in a 10-round super welterweight showdown.

Additionally, middleweight prospect Elijah Garcia (16-1, 13 KOs) will take on veteran and U.S. Olympian Terrell Gausha (24-4-1, 12 KOs) in a 10-round bout.
