On March 15 at the Echo Arena Liverpool, England, Andrew Cain (13-1-0, 12 KOs) and Charlie Edwards (20-1-0, 7 KOs) will face each other for the World Boxing Council Silver bantamweight title.
Cain, who is the British and Commonwealth bantamweight champion, knocked out Lazaro Casseres in his most recent fight last October.
Edwards will come into this fight after winning the EBU title by defeating Thomas Essomba by decision.
Andrew will try to show that he has learned the lesson from his 2023 loss to Ionut Baluta, while facing the toughest test of his career to date.
Charlie was already WBC flyweight world champion in 2018 and is looking to achieve the same feat, but now in the bantamweight division.
This Friday, both warriors passed the official weigh-in without any issues. Cain weighed in at 117.8 pounds, while Edwards registered 117.9 pounds.
